7. Instrument consortium

The VSI consortium, as defined at the end of phase A, is composed of several institutes organized as follows:

- Core partners:

  • Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Grenoble - LAOG (Grenoble, France) represented by Dr. F. Malbet including contributions from Institut National des Sciences de l’Uinvers (INSU/CNRS), Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon (CRAL) and the Jean-Marie Mariotti Center (JMMC)
  • Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge (Cambridge, UK) represented by Dr. D. Buscher
  • Max-Planck-Institut für Radioastronomie - MPIfR (Bonn, Germany) represented by Pr. G. Weigelt
  • Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica - INAF (Torino & Roma, Italy) represented by Dr. M. Gai including Osservatorio Astronomico di Torino (OATo) & Osservatorio Astronomico di Roma (OAR)
  • Centro de Astrofísica da Universidade do Porto - CAUP (Porto, Portugal) represented by P. Garcia including contributions from Instituto Nacional de Engenharia, Tecnologia e Inovação (INETI, Lisbon) and Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (FCUL, Lisbon)
